Aguero better Than Salah- Guardiola Insists, offers reasons

Aguero and Sallah

Pep Guardiola insists Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has lost none of his goal-scoring prowess, but the Manchester city boss claims the Egyptian ought to repeat last season's prodigious feats before he can match Sergio Aguero.

City forward Aguero, the club's all-time record scorer, has opened the new campaign in predictable fashion, scoring 8 times in 10 games already this season.

Liverpool winger Salah has made a more modest start to 2018-19, certainly in comparison to last season's 44-goal campaign, with simply 3 goals to date.

And, whilst Guardiola has absolute confidence that Salah remains a deadly hazard, the city manager believes the Egypt superstar should score prolifically over a length of multiple years to match Aguero's achievements.

"He (Salah) is younger and it was his first year back in England since his time at Chelsea, so we will see within the future," stated Guardiola, talking ahead of city's visit to Liverpool in the premier League on Sunday.

"But a guy who has the quality to score 50 goals in a season always has that quality. but football is all about upand downs.

"Salah remains an awesome player and will score goals in the future. while you are in there scenting goals sometimes this happens.

"Sergio has scored quite a few goals but there have been periods while he didn't score goals.

"What number of years has Sergio scored all those goals, 8 or 9 years? For Salah it was the first one so we can see in seven or eight years."

Some other city forward, Raheem Sterling, have to be involved at Anfield despite Guardiola having left him out of one of the two journeys to Liverpool last season.

Sterling, a former Liverpool player, was given a torrid reception from his former club's supporters who were unimpressed at the manner of his leaving Merseyside.

However Guardiola believes that coping in the face of such adversity is a part of the 23-year-old's learning curve.

"He has played against Liverpool at Anfield before," stated Guardiola. "He failed to begin last season for the first time but that was for a tactical cause.

"I do not consider him differently for this game due to the fact he is a former Liverpool participant. maybe it's affected him before, perhaps it hasn't. I don't know because we have not spoken about it.

"However even if that's happened because he was so young, he has to learn. with a bit of luck he will be here for a long time with us, so he's going to cross many times to Anfield. that's normal.

"He grew up as a player at Liverpool, he has good memories of his career there. Of course Liverpool enthusiasts need him to play bad, and he would not need to play bad, he wants to play good."

Liverpool, over the first  months of the season at least, have emerged as the most powerful challengers to city's hopes of retaining the premier League title won in such spectacular fashion last season.

And while Guardiola, diplomatically, name checked the division's other main sides, he did concede that he expected Jurgen Klopp's team to be prime contenders in this season.

"Liverpool are a robust group but so are Chelsea, and Arsenal, Manchester United. Tottenham as well," Guardiola stated.

"But for us, for Manchester city, we need to defend our name, and they may be contenders. Liverpool have commenced so well, they have got the equal points us, but we were waiting for that all along.

"Liverpool have been an excellent group last season and due to the fact that then they have bought some more incredible players to combat against us."

“In many of the states we had challenges springing up from the way congresses have been carried out, many of them were quite fraudulent that has been the task we had been seeking to clear up since we came. Screening of aspirants is not a formality, which is why we tried to look for men and women of integrity who cannot be compromised.

We do not need to field opportunists who're honestly searching for a political vehicle for some egocentric functions. What had happened in recent past is sufficient for us to begin to examine the character of those who are searching for office under the APC platform.

“If before now we have taken for granted the powers of the national assembly, how those powers can be used for national goals and how it may also be misused to undermine national progress, the current situation we are dealing with right here, wherein  principal officers have chosen to place their personal interest over and above the national interest.

Refusing to consider budget meant for physical infrastructure. Budget meant to re-order the way our budget is executed, to move money away from consumption which recurrent expenditure represents to capital projects which will benefit our people.

“Refusing to approve money meant for the body charged with the responsibility of conducting elections in 2019. For us as a party, we have chosen to learn from the positive lessons from this development in order that we do not repeat those errors by means of selecting people who as far as human capacity is, we will assess and predict that if elected they will continue to be trustworthy not only to our party but more importantly to the Nigerian nation”.

The party chairman emphasised that “If we've got war of words, it will not be about juicy appointments. It will likely be about appropriate policies, it'll be about how governance is impacting positively on the lives of Nigerians. It will not be about who is getting what, politics of sharing”.

Buhari will do anything to remain in power – Fani-Kayode

He said “this is nothing but a reprehensible act and i'm not amazed. It shows the level of desperation of the APC and its government. APC is determined to win the Saturday’s election in Osun state.”

“I’ve never heard of any governorship candidate being invited by the Police in less than  days to his election. This act of the Police is condemnable and that i want all Nigerians to condemn it.

“Buhari will do anything to remain in power and he's going to intimidate people that stand on his ways, however i'm positive God will deliver us and we shall be free from him in the future,” he delivered.

Also reacting, the state secretary of the PDP, Hon Bola Ajao said the action of the Police was politically encouraged, adding that it will not have negative results on the chances of the party in the Saturday’s election.

He stated the party’s governorship candidate will honour the Police invitation as he has nothing to cover.

But the All Progressives Congress (APC) distant itself from the issue, saying it was not involved in the travails of Adeleke.

The party’s director of publicity in Osun state, Mr Kunle Oyatomi stated “the APC isn't always related with the troubles of Adeleke. Or did the APC initiate the invitation? If he had not committed any offence, would police have invited him?”

“The Police said he has questions to answer, hence the invitation. Is he the best governorship candidate? Out of 48 candidates, he was the only one invited by the Police. He have to clear himself first of the criminal charges against him from the Police,” he delivered

It is worth noting that it was President Buhari that stopped the invitation by the police to allow a peaceful election.

PDP Ask Buhari to probe First Lady

The Peoples Democratic party (PDP) has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to show his zero tolerance for corruption by allowing for an open inquest into the N2.5 billion scandal, concerning the first lady, Aisha Buhari.

The management of the principle opposition party has additionally accused the independent national Electoral commission (INEC) of double standards, pronouncing the commission takes different decisions on electoral results, regardless of constitutional provisions.

PDP stated it was more scandalous that while President Buhari was in the United Nations (UN) general assembly in New York mouthing his war against corruption, a big broth of corruption, wherein his spouse was stated, was simmering under his own roof.

The national publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan who disclosed this yesterday in a statement in Abuja, stated that the scandal had further vindicated the stand of the PDP that President Buhari presides over a government of corruption, wherein his close relatives, officials and a cabal of friends are enmeshed in sleazy offers but parading as saints.

The party said it was instructive to note that the first lady had already admitted that her detained security aide defrauded “unsuspecting associates and officials”, a position which inadvertently exposes the strive by the Police to conceal the matter.

Ologbondiyan said Nigerians ought to note that the Presidency had unexpectedly gone dumb on a N2.5 billion fraud under its roof, pronouncing, “does this not amount to admittance of complicity by the Buhari Presidency, that's becoming notorious as a den of certificates forgers and individuals of questionable character.”

The PDP stressed that President Buhari, by now, need to have learnt that Nigerians are not shopping for the lame denial by the first lady, who had rushed to town to disown her detained security aide, Sani Baba Inna, simply due to the fact the lid is off the can of worms.

Ologbondiyan stated, “The PDP and indeed Nigerians have constantly pointed to the very expensive lifestyle and personal effects, including posh jewelries, each day paraded by close relatives of Mr. President, for this reason belying gimmicks and stunts of the first family being saintly and pro-poor.

“Also, there had been allegations of acquisitions of sprawling and choice property in Nigeria and different nations by persons close to the President.”

The opposition party noted that it is common knowledge that aides of former Presidents and those of former First ladies are presently facing trial in open court over similar allegations, including that this should not be an exception.

The PDP said it was hoping that the detained aide will not be ‘escorted’ out of the country to prevent him from opening up, as was the case of disgraced former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.

Mental Health: What is doing the Work?

Physical health has progressed and substantially improved our life expectancy. Butt, mental health has not improved.'

The most crucial work we can ever do is on ourselves. That is why it is referred to as the work.

Here is what I learnt in therapy and from "doing the work".

People regularly say we need to "do the work", however what is "the work"? I hope this post will come up with an answer to this query and additionally help you heal and restore your mental health.

The work is seeking help for our mental health. however, allow me begin from the very starting, with a history lesson about health and what I mean about "mental health".
When  people discovered how to heal our bodies, mortality rates fell. in keeping with Dr guy Winch (YouTube him, he's brilliant!), whilst we discovered physical and dental hygiene 100 years ago, our life expectancy improved. In truth, it nearly doubled. He therefore advocates that we expand our very own emotional first aid.

What our great-grandparents supposed by mid-life isn't like what we mean with the aid of this. They meant our 30s, we mean our late 40s. while our great-grandparents started out to work (around the age of 10) is different from when we begin working (around 16 years old). Such has been the effect of an improvement in physical health, among many things.

Why is that? Why is this vital? it's because of the discovery (around 300 years ago) and acceptance of the Germ theory in technological know-how (around 150 years ago). This meant that people, for the first time in records, have been taught about physical and dental hygiene — to the factor that physical and dental hygiene is sort of second nature to us.

'Doing the work' is investing time and effort to achieve a mission (the definition of work). In this example, the assignment is gaining mental health.
So physical health has advanced and substantially improved our life expectancy. however, mental fitness has not progressed. Overwhelming proof indicates that lately it is worsening, in a world that is getting more unequal.

Doing the work is restoring your mental health, i.e. healing it and practicing mental hygiene. it is going to a therapist and confronting those things that harm your emotions and make you feel indignant, unhappy, much less effective, aggravating or depressed however don't have anything to do along with your physical health. it's far in search of and taking medicine if need be.

It is studying about self-love, self-compassion, self-recognition, self-kindness, self-motivation, care, self-understanding, self-confidence,  and so forth. — and how to get them.

Do a web search for self-love and the way to practise it; there are numerous appropriate articles. Wikipedia is a good area to begin, because it familiarises you with the idea. Then do the same with the other ideas. that is what "doing the work" is.

"Doing the work" is making an investment effort and time to reap a assignment (the definition of labor). In this case, the challenge is gaining intellectual health. The maximum essential paintings we are able to ever do is on ourselves. it truly is why that is referred to as the work.

So begin small. begin with one concept, e.g. self-forgiveness, and spend a couple of months getting to know and working towards it. Doing the work is a manner and it's going to take years and even final your lifetime, just like taking showers, brushing your teeth and washing your fingers.

WHO Calls "Gaming Disorder" mental health Condition

The world Health Organization WHO has termed “gaming disorder” as a diagnosable condition.

However the organization’s decision to encompass the new term in the 11th edition of its international classification of diseases (ICD), which it released Monday, has sparked controversy amongst psychiatric experts who query whether there’s sufficient research to name it a real disease.

According to the american mental association, an anticipated 160 million American adults play video games, however the proportion of people that might qualify for the disease is extremely small. Players’ ages range from beneath 18 to over 50, and the male-to-female ratio is sort of equal.

The WHO’s official definition of “gaming disorder” includes:

A pattern of conduct for as a minimum one year wherein gaming is out of control.

The pattern of conduct ought to show an “accelerated priority given to gaming” to the point that gaming “takes precedence over different interests and day by day activities.”
A “continuation or escalation of gaming notwithstanding the prevalence of bad consequences,” or conduct that influences one’s relationships, education, or profession. this may suggest that a youngster may additionally play video games in place of doing homework and end up failing a test.

Infant and adolescent psychiatrist Victor Fornari, MD, sees many households who struggle to govern the amount of time their children spend in front of a screen.

“A family typically has regulations about television time. right here, a child wouldn’t stop, despite the promise of negative consequences,” he says.

Nigeria: FG stand about driving license racketeers

The Federal government has directed “complete action” against unscrupulous driving school operators and other saboteurs of the nation’s driver licensing system.

The Secretary to the government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, introduced this in Abuja on Tuesday.

Mustapha spoke on the 4th national Workshop for driving school Operators in the North-central, organised via the Federal road safety Corps.

The news agency of Nigeria reports that the series of workshops are part of efforts by the FRSC to sanitise the method of drivers’ training and licensing inside the country.

The move, in step with the FRSC Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, follows a current media report that the system has been “grossly compromised by driving school operators” and different actors.

Mustapha said the authorities was conscious that a few operators were deliberately sabotaging its driving school Standardisation Programme, applied by the FRSC.

The operators, consistent with him, do that commonly via “breaching the DSSP portal” to assist their customers to bypass the due  procedure of acquiring driver’s licence.

Represented by Mr Adekunle Olusegun, the permanent Secretary, general services department of his office, Mustapha stated the FRSC have been mandated to punish those already identified to deter potential offenders.

“Authorities is closely watching the execution of the DSSP and might respect its enlargement to make sure that only people who are certified to drive on Nigerian roads do so.

“Let me emphasise right here that those who make use of the roads have to constantly be properly educated and licensed so as not to lose focus and be responsible of gross negligence in vital regions of national development,” he said.
